NOW HIRING: Unit Secretary
Responsibilities of a Unit Secretary:
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the nursing unit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.
- Coordinate communication between medical staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars for the unit.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications of a Unit Secretary:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred
