Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing First Bank's marketing strategies. This includes working closely with external agencies to manager the bank's website, social media channels, product-specific promotions, and branding initiatives. The role also involves tracking and managing the marketing budget while supporting various marketing activities such as events, community engagement, budgeting, and advertising. Additional responsibilities include assisting with product development, enhancement, and marketing oversight. The Marketing Specialist coordinates key marketing functions such as media campaign strategies, ad design, product and image advertisements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Execute marketing strategies, working with third-party agencies on website management, social media, product promotions, and branding.

2. Oversee the Community Involvement Program, managing requests for donations, coordinating events, and handling sponsorship perks.

3. Updates Community Involvement calendar in the Marketing section of The Hub and shares information about upcoming bank-supported events.

4. Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure all promotional materials on The Hub are current and accurate.

5. Responsible for the Marketing Help Desk ticketing system, address all marketing related support needed and share with cross-functional departments if needed.

6. Manage social media content, monitor feedback, and coordinate responses on platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google My Business with third party agencies. Prepare and present monthly reports on social media performance metrics.

7. Manage the marketing budget and update monthly. Track and reconcile marketing expenses to ensure alignment with the marketing budget.

8. Oversee promotional inventory and storefront, handles distribution, requests, and tracks expenses to stay within budget.

9. Manage Community Involvement program, including but not limited to handling requests for support/donations from all bank areas, advertising and branding coordination, event tracking, staffing, attendance, and managing of other perks involved with sponsorships.

10. Updates Community Involvement calendar in the Marketing section of The Hub and shares information about upcoming bank-supported events.

11. Review and ensure marketing collateral on The Hub is current and compliant.

12. Update corporate website on as needed basis via the Bank's Content Management System.

13. Develop creative assets for print and digital. Resize and edit existing ads, sponsorship materials, and digital marketing assets as needed.

14. Work with external agencies on public relations, press releases, and media features.

15. Coordinate staff photography with external photographers.

16. Provide backup support to the Director of Marketing as needed for special projects or new initiatives.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.

* 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, project management or graphic design.

* Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

* A team player who can work effectively with coworkers and external agencies.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
