Summary & Qualifications:SummaryThis position provides office, administrative and operational support services to the Student Life Department.QualificationsRequired:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus college coursework related to the position
  • Three years of work experience related to the position
  • Word processing skills and experience
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Internet, email, calendaring software
Preferred:
  • Associate Degree
  • Experience updating webpages
  • Experience using social media
  • Experience with database programs (i.e. Banner and Microsoft Access)
  • Experience with marketing and promotion
  • Experience with spreadsheet programs (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
Essential ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned.
  • Greets walk-in customers, answers multi-line telephones, schedules appointments for director and professional staff, and coordinates the preparation and dissemination of messages to students
  • Assists with updating content on web pages
  • Prepares and maintains student records
  • Supports with the coordination of special activities, events and conferences
  • Interacts with and assists students daily
  • Composes correspondence
  • Complies information and prepares reports

The selected candidate will be required to complete the onboarding requirements of both NMC and EduStaff.
