DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Field Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of field staff who work directly on school campuses providing professional, accessible services to at-risk students and their families.   • Supervise and manage field staff assigned to cluster in order to ensure CIS-SA field staff is on track to meet performance goals.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure the effective flow of critical information, while clearly communicating supervisor expectations that align with program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Motivates assigned staff by providing positive feedback, gathering input, and promoting a growth mindset and environment of continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate program goals, directives, and information from the Program Operations team and other agency departments to field staff in a timely manner.
  • Provide continuous coaching, skills development, and performance management to include progress toward caseload & campus/program goals.
  • Develop support plans for assigned field staff based on individualized staff and campus/program needs.
  • Communicate site-based needs and feedback to Program Operations team to strengthen program design and implementation.
Program Operations
  • Collaborate and consult with school personnel, district level staff, or designated liaisons to ensure assigned field staff are planning & delivering services that impact campus, district, and student goals.
  • Assure the adherence to all contractual and grant provisions by managing and reporting progress on grants and projects assigned.
  • Utilize and communicate data to assess and demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Manage and oversee site/program budgets and ensure appropriate expenditures according to funding guidelines.
  • Oversee quality of programming through regular site visits, collaboration with school/district administration, review of staff data, monthly reports, campus service delivery plan, and file monitoring.
  • Provide caseload monitoring and staff progress toward campus/program goals by reviewing database reports, addressing red flags, monitoring findings, and/or creating a plan with staff that includes action steps toward meeting goals.
  • Support program needs by coordinating and distributing, best practices & resources that support the CIS program mission and model.
  • Develop and strengthen volunteer and community partnerships by connecting and managing internal and external resources that support assigned program goals.
  • Schedule and facilitate principal visits & meetings at minimum twice a school year, or as needed to educate school staff about the CIS-SA campus integration model and to seek input and monitor and document program progress toward goals.
  • Provide cross-departmental support for the overall goals of the agency. Perform other duties as necessary to implement & manage effective programs.
Training & Support
  • Train field staff in CIS-SA program development and implementation
  • Train field staff in use of local data base
  • Participate in the on boarding & training process of new hires.
  • Provide ongoing training in conjunction with Program Local Operating Procedures to support field staff in effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate clear action plans to assist staff in meeting agency and campus/program goals.
  • Support the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and placement process of well-qualified field staff.
  • Evaluate and document performance issues as needed in conjunction with the agency Progressive Discipline Process
Project Management
  • Oversee special projects & grants assigned, including development, implementation, monitoring/evaluating, and reporting according to program requirements.
  • Create long and short-term plans including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines for all assigned projects and grants.
  • Organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of assigned project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate updates, successes and any pertinent information to internal and external stakeholders involved with special projects.
Administration
  • Manage approved work schedule and timesheets.
  • Manage and approve timecards for direct reports.
  • Complete performance evaluation for all direct reports on a yearly basis.
  • Ensure the completion of required programmatic reports.
  • Attend and engage in all meetings as required.
  • Participate and engage in professional development and training opportunities to obtain or improve knowledge and skills.
  • Provide cross-departmental support for the overall goals of the agency.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work generally are Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m. Employees may be required to adjust daily work hours based on location/site (i.e., 7:30-4:00pm) and changes in work hours for summer, June-August (i.e., Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm).   • Minimum Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Clinical Mental Health and 3 years' related work experience.
  • For Clinical Teams only: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW required with 4 years relevant field experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with ability to effectively understand needs, convey information and collaborate on solutions.
  • Experience supervising or leading others to include volunteers, interns, or employees.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers for: word processing, databases, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet.
  • Experience with program delivery to at-risk populations and identifying barriers to success, developing practical solutions, creating action plans, providing supports, and advocating for resources.
  • Understanding and respecting diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Experience with case management processes.
  • Proven ability to set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to articulate program goals in a public setting.
  • Experience working with youth and families.
  • Experience effectively managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Adaptable to diverse work environments, frequent changes, and various leadership styles.

  • Proven ability to effectively lead a team.
