We have an opportunity for a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor to join our Delavan, WI team. You will be responsible for supervising team members and managing multiple manufacturing cells in order to manufacture finished products as scheduled while maintaining safety, quality, and delivery, productivity, and shipping goals. The 2nd shift Supervisor coordinates the handoff of production work between 1st and 2nd shift employees. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today!

You will:

  • Drive daily performance by working closely with inventory management, sourcing, Lean, Quality, Human Resources / Safety to identify and solve problems that interfere with the daily achievement of the production.
  • Provide daily supervision and support of employees in the respective work areas which includes assignment of work, managing employee performance issues, maintaining staffing levels.
  • Engage the employees to support root cause and countermeasures in regard to safety, quality, delivery, and cost working closely with the support departments.
  • Coach employee performance to improve productivity, manage attendance, and ensures compliance with work procedures.
  • Perform near miss and accident investigations. Communicate hazards to others to prevent repeat incidents and raise the issue with maintenance or management. Complete safety cross and other reports as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Led teams that have a proven track record of achieving measured objectives.
  • Demonstrate an employee first attitude focused on identifying and solving problems with your team.
  • Be technically sound in lean manufacturing techniques and process improvement strategies.
