Alera Group Pittsburgh, is looking for a Seasonal Open Enrollment Enroller. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

The primary purpose of this position is conducting open enrollment meetings for large group clients. They would be responsible for explaining all benefits being offered to employees, answer questions and follow up as appropriate.

This position requires the following:

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Understand PPT and computers to set up projectors, etc.
  • Familiarity with employee benefits
  • Ability to travel overnight when needed

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with team to review the benefits and presentation prior to the meeting
  • Arrive at the client office 30 minutes in advance to set up
  • May need to carry supplies, when necessary, i.e. boxes of materials
  • Present to employees so they are engaged in the content and understand their benefits
  • Take questions at the end and send to the service team to investigate

Job Characteristics:

  • People-focused
  • Excellent presentation skills and may need to speak with great specificity and knowledgeable detail about benefits
  • Associate degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Health and Life License, but not required
  • Knowledge of group product lines
  • Client service experience, preferably in the area of employee benefits
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary
  • Must be able to travel to clients in greater Pittsburgh and outside of Pittsburgh.
