Broadcast and Multimedia Production Intern

The SteepleCats' Broadcast and Multimedia Production intern is responsible for making sure the homegame broadcast runs smoothly and is of the highest quality. Tasks include:•Manage set up and operation of all home broadcast video streams including cameras,broadcast equipment, and microphone/audio equipment•Operate the camera switcher to move between camera angles during the broadcast•Supervise camera operators (3-4) to ensure they stay on task and focused•Work closely with the broadcaster and producer to ensure an organized production•Assist the broadcaster with research for pre-game notes and post-game wrap up•Produce pre-game interviews (can be pre-taped) and coordinate post-game playerinterviews•Mix sponsor commercials into broadcast as appropriate•Familiarity with on screen broadcast graphics (i.e. follow the action, know what shouldbe on the screen at a given time)•Assist in the design and production of a broadcast intro & outro•Supplement social media intern with content•Brainstorm new and creative ideas as it relates to broadcast content (i.e. micing playerson game day, day in the life of a SteepleCat, etc.)Skills:•Familiarity with VMix, OBS, Adobe Premiere (or similar software) a plus•Strong organizational and technical skills•Technical troubleshooting•Ability to delegate tasks to a small team•Self starter and a team player•Ability work in a high stress environment•Commitment to a professional career path•Flexible in all situations•Must be willing to work nontraditional hours - late nights, weekendsAdditional Info: This job is full time 40 hours/week and runs from late May - early August.This is an unpaid internship but we provide housing and a game-night meal.
