JOB SUMMARYPicking and staging materials to keep assemblers supplied with parts between both Delavan, WI facilities.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory transactions. Processing orders for shipping and production areas. Performs material handling duties as needed. Completes general and overall warehousing duties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Order pickinghandling the receipt, movement, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
- Processing, packaging, shipping and/or storing supplies, materials
- Accounting for all materials and supplies by auditing goods received into warehouse
- Operating a forklift and pallet jack, as needed
- Following the required operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of the facility and equipment
- Deliver and pick up of materials to and from lines as needed.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Package, crate, and prepare materials for shipping.
- Deliver and pick up required materials between facilities.
- Perform material handling, shipping, and receiving tasks as required.
- Always following safety policies and protocols.
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - The ability to lift 40 pounds of weight using proper lifting or team-lift techniques
- Experience using a forklift and/or pallet jack preferred; ability to pass forklift training required
- Computer inventory experience preferred
- Cycle count experience preferred
- RF Scanner experience preferred
- Good organizational and attention to detail skills
- Good communication skills to interact with multiple levels and titles, and internal and external contacts
- Exceptional teamwork skills
- A solid work ethic including reliability
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - A high school diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years of related experience is preferred.
