A chance to thrive.We build homes that make it possible for people to fulfill their dreams and for driven individuals who choose to share our mission, we make it possible to fulfill their full potential.The Leasing Consultant is responsible for optimizing property occupancy and income through grass-roots marketing and effective closing and renewal techniques. This includes building prospects' interest in the property and converting them into residents after the selling process.Key Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Leads tours of the property; shows model unit(s) and markets amenities to close sales and maintain occupancy
  • Assists in creating marketing collateral detailing the property's unique features, amenities, size, floor plans, vacancies, rental rates and current promotions
  • Processes rental applications in accordance with policy
  • Markets Ingerman within the community, utilizing social media to generate prospect interest
  • Tracks and follows-up with all referrals, walk-ins and phone inquiries
  • Ensures the application files contain all required documentation
  • Works with the Property Manager to develop and implement resident programs, including special events and ongoing instructional and recreational activities
  • Visits comparable properties within the area to maintain market awareness and leverage competitive insights
RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of three years of sales/leasing experience-preferably within the property management industry
  • Experience with affordable housing (Tax Credits) is preferred
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position is part time, 20 hours per week
