We are hiring for Building Permanent Substitute Teachers for Danbury Public Schools! No previous experience is required!

Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.

Minimum requirements:

Substitute Teacher - Bachelors Degree OR ED174 Waiver - Must be in junior or senior year of college in approved education degree program. District will also consider talent from overseas with a bachelors in teaching or talent that has classroom experience but does not have a degree evaluation yet.

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
