Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets up banquet rooms and additional areas according to the direction of Banquet Setup Supervisor. Areas include all areas in clubhouse and on grounds outside.
- Maintains overall appearance of clubhouse and grounds
- Assists in setting up buffets required for member dining
- Maintains inventory of tables, chairs, furniture, linen, and other equipment required for events. Maintains storage areas for event inventories
- Caries out all bylaws and policies as set by the Board of Directors
- Promotes a positive team atmosphere with all staff
- Assist banquet staff as needed with bussing of tables/buffets during special events and holidays
- Completes various special projects as requested by banquet set up Manager
- Support the Housekeeping department as requested by banquet set up Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or higher education degree required.
- Previous banquet or catering experience preferred.
- Must be detail oriented, imaginative and possess a working knowledge of banquet operations
- Attention to detail and initiative required.
- Must speak and read English reasonably well.
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 85 pounds.
