Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sets up banquet rooms and additional areas according to the direction of Banquet Setup Supervisor. Areas include all areas in clubhouse and on grounds outside.
  • Maintains overall appearance of clubhouse and grounds
  • Assists in setting up buffets required for member dining
  • Maintains inventory of tables, chairs, furniture, linen, and other equipment required for events. Maintains storage areas for event inventories
  • Caries out all bylaws and policies as set by the Board of Directors
  • Promotes a positive team atmosphere with all staff
  • Assist banquet staff as needed with bussing of tables/buffets during special events and holidays
  • Completes various special projects as requested by banquet set up Manager
  • Support the Housekeeping department as requested by banquet set up Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or higher education degree required.
  • Previous banquet or catering experience preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented, imaginative and possess a working knowledge of banquet operations
  • Attention to detail and initiative required.
  • Must speak and read English reasonably well.
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 85 pounds.
