Role: Home Health AideLocation: Rochester, NYContract Duration: 10 weeks contract with a possibility of extensionPay Rate: $22/hrWork Schedule: 40 hrs/weekShift: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat 3p-11:30pCOVID VACCINE AND FLU SHOT REQUIREDREQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Home Health Aide certification preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of work experience, preferably in home care, a skilled nursing facility, or hospital setting
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license with a registered vehicle that is insured and can pass a safety inspection
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills (in English)
• Comfortable with little supervision

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom
• Perform household duties, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide patients with mobility assistance
• Follow assignments and guidelines set by RNs, PTs, and/or OTs
• Prepare and submit all documentation by established deadlines in conjunction with policies and procedures
• Report unusual behavior and any other pertinent patient information to supervisor
• Show flexibility in responding to the needs of the patient Oversee administration of medications
