Job Title: Quality Control AssociateLocation: Cleveland, OHDuration: 6- month ContractWork Type: OnsitePay Range: $25 - $26/HrAbout the Role:As a Quality Control Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring product quality and compliance. You'll perform a variety of analytical chemistry tests on raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials to verify they meet stringent quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical chemistry tests, including wet chemistry and instrumental analysis (FT-IR, pH, Karl Fischer titration)
- Follow established laboratory procedures and safety protocols
- Identify and investigate out-of-specification results
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and techniques
- Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with compendial testing (USP, EP, JP)
- Knowledge of laboratory investigation procedures
- Strong communication and documentation skills
