PAY RATE: $20.00 - $21.00 per hourJOB SUMMARY: Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.SCHEDULE AVAILABLE:
- Schedule 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 0000-0900
DESCRIPTION:
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
- Conducting check points.
- Use of security hand-held device.
- Possible crowd control.
- Access control.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid S-95
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
- Some positions may require a 7-year consistent work history.
