Title: Marketing ManagerReports to: Director of MarketingEmployment Status: Full Time/ExemptSLT, a dynamic and rapidly expanding fitness brand with a strong presence in the Northeast, is in search of a dedicated Marketing Manager to join our team. With a focus on innovation,client experience, and operational excellence, SLT has established itself as a leader in the fitness industry. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our continued success, responsible for supporting marketing strategy ideation and execution, internal and external communications, brand positioning, public relations, website, mobile app, client longevity and experience and customer sales efforts.   • Support the Director of Marketing in development and execution of marketing initiatives that support SLT's business and marketing objectives
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to create and implement innovative marketing objectives and strategies focused on driving occupancy, new client growth, and retention; build strategic campaigns versus promotional strategy.
  • Assist in near and long-term creative planning to ensure a clear and consistent message for the brand across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to spearhead the company's sales efforts entitled The Ask
  • Maintain marketing calendar and own messaging across email, social and in-studio platforms
  • Manage and maintain databases for email campaigns, customer communication, and press distribution
  • Analyze data and results of marketing initiatives to generate takeaways and to inform the evolution of programs and strategies
  • Assist with the coordination of marketing collateral, including working with graphic designers, printers, and other vendors
  • Partner with studio teams to bring marketing activations to life in SLT studios including signage, themed classes, local marketing policies, etc.
  • Lead generation including Grassroots Marketing and Networking and implement sales process for client conversion
  • Drive Membership sales through business development efforts; including corporate & residential partnerships
  • Manage corporate partnerships and SLT employee discounts; facilitate discounts for our partnerships as well.
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
  • Determine in-studio brand standards and maintain adherence in partnership with studio teams
  • Develop local marketing opportunities and partnerships specific to each location
  • Maintain the SLT website and app including updating content and instructor profiles
  • Work with managers to arrange curated classes designed to bring new clients into studios on a regular basis
  • Partner on retail design and curation, visual merchandising, signage and brand protection
  • Model the way; live the SLT core values and culture.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA required.
  • Experience developing brand positioning, advertising campaigns, and marketing programs is ideal.
  • Ability to set performance goals, KPIs, analyze metrics, and deliver results.
  • Outstanding strategic thinking skills with a balance of analytical and creative capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, influence, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A self-starter who is highly organized, highly accountable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, fun, teamwork-oriented company.
  • Strong social media connection.
  • Passionate about fitness.
Work Requirements:
  • 40+ hour work week
  • Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends).
  • Travel to studios as required.
  • Maintain company credit card and submit expense reports accurately and timely.
  • Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
  • Position based in New York, NY.
