The co-op/intern will assist the Industrial Engineering/ Lean Team with: continuous improvement, visual factory, 6 S, time studies, facility layouts, kaizen events, and other industrial engineering related projects. Available blocks include the spring and/or summer semesters. Qualifications. Position Overview. The position will report into and support the Industrial Engineering/ Lean Team. In this role the main responsibilities will be: Work with Cross Functional Teams to Implement Improvements. Conduct Process Observations and Time Studies. Assist with Planning for Facility Layout Changes. Implement 6 S and Visual Factory. Assist with Value Stream Mapping and Documenting Current State Flows. Participate in Kaizen Events.
