Accounts Receivable Specialist - Construction ManagementJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our construction management team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Construction Management and Field Supervisors, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the team.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support for Construction Management and Field Supervisors.Coordinate with construction crews to ensure PPE is available to all employees.Track equipment utilization.Code and process vendor invoices.Complete payroll and timesheets for up to 10 employees weekly.Cross-train for various duties within the Construction Administration Office.Coordinate with shop mechanics to complete preventative maintenance orders and assist with parts orders and purchase orders.Learn and implement safe working practices and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.Identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions.Essential SkillsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge of JDE business system is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree preferred.Knowledge of NYS construction prevailing wage system and NYS DOL construction criteria.Solid organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business situations.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience working in an administrative environment.Experience processing invoices and payroll.Work EnvironmentThe position is fully on-site, Monday through Friday. You will be part of a very tight-knit team and report directly to the Construction Manager.
