CRNA physician job in Massachusetts : Locums - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, CRNA OpeningClinical Role:

- Open to 4 10's or 5 8's - full time need January to May, with possibility to extend
- January 2-3 CRNAsFeb: 4 CRNAsMarch: 3-4 CRNAsApril 1-2 CRNAsMay: 3-4 CRNAs
- Schedule: 5 shifts at 8 hours is preferred but will take 1 FTE at 4 shifts for 10 hours. 7-330p or 7-530p. Unable to accommodate 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, 3 weeks on/1 week off, etc.
- Level III Trauma Center
- Collaborative MD/CRNA relationship
- No call requirements (do have weekend and day call if interested)
- Credentialing timeframe: Timeframe for facility is less than 1 month. Our hold up is usually the Mass APRN licensure Which is for the MA Board & required before CRNAs can start. Will allow temporary privileges
- Patient ages: adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- Types of cases/Specialty mix: Level III Trauma Center. Must be comfortable with all cases General (Laparoscopic cholecystectomy/Appy), Robotic (Gastric Bypass, prostates), vascular (Endo AAA, A-V fistulas, CAEs), ortho, mastectomies, cystoscopys)
- Support staff available: We are CRNAs - we have anesthesia techs who do our machine turnovers. Also have scrub techs and first assists, and POAs who clean the ORs.
- Type of charting (EMR, paper): Paper charting
- Credentialing timeframe: Timeframe less than 1 month. Our hold up is usually the Mass APRN licensure Which is for the MA Board & required before CRNAs can start
- Will allow temporary privileges
- Reason for coverage: Staff shortage due to retirement and moving out of state) and expansion of CRNA coverage to other hospitals
- MA license - Highly preferred
- Board Certified - Required
- Clean background - Required
- Minimum of 2 years experience - Required
