Solutions Consultant II (*Must live in the Northeast)

A Day in the Life of the Solutions Consultant - About the role:

As a Solutions Consultant, you will uncover a prospects true needs and develop compelling business cases, create personalized solutions that resonate with the prospect, configure and demonstrate our software applications in conveying to customers how our solutions will solve their challenges, provide professional services implementation scoping, and Statement of Work production.

  • Understand a prospect's requirements by leading discovery (25%)
  • Design and configure effective solutions (25%)
  • Demonstrate our products (25%)
  • Estimate services effort and produce work orders (25%)

Required Skills and Qualifications - About you:

We are looking for candidates who possess the combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors.

  • Ability to explore and understand the needs of a prospect
  • Ability to capture a prospect's needs in the form of user stories
  • Ability to develop and convey a business case for using our software
  • Ability to demonstrate user stories in our software through the lens of a user
  • Ability to lead a pre-sales engagement with a prospect
  • Experience in value-based solution selling

Strongly Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in pre-sales consulting and/or implementation and/or sales experience in the enterprise space for a complex software or application provider
  • Experience in configuring software solutions
  • Experience in relevant business process (pricing, commercial excellence, revenue management, offer marketing, etc.)
  • Experience in comparable software sales cycles
  • Experience in qualifying deals in complex sales cycles
  • Experience in responding to RFX

Travel Considerations:

  • Willing to travel approximately 40% of the time to prospects and customers.
