The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) which offers services to children, adolescents and adults, is located in Industrial Park has opportunities for growth within the outpatient, community based, and Adult Crisis Stabilization programs. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. Clinician Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations Crisis intervention Maintain assigned caseload
- Providing direct care to patients (children, adolescents and adults- including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments
- Responsible for each assigned patients medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner
- Provide direct care to the patients. This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patients. discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned
- Responsible for linking patients with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate
- Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director, the Clinical Director, and/or the Senior Clinician
- Client intake process, complete initial assessments, complete related paperwork, and treatment plans for incoming clients in the evening.
- Facilitate one group weekly.
Clinician Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Independent License preferred, not required
- 2 years experience
