Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, assisting with tasks like administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
- Work closely with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care and support.
- Accurately document patient care, assessments, and observations in the Epic electronic health record system.
- Be prepared to rotate between different units and shifts as needed by the hospital, with the possibility of working both day and night shifts.
Qualifications:Experience:
- 1 year of LPN experience in a medical-surgical setting is required.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Travel pairs must be flexible to work across multiple units and shifts.
Licensure:
- Active New York State LPN License is required.
- No locals (must live more than 50 miles from the facility).
