The intern will serve the Health and Hospital Corporation/ Marion County Public Health Department (MCPHD) under the direction of the Human Resources Department. The Human Resource department is responsible for advising employees and managers, coordinates staffing, oversees benefits, and ensures compliance with employment laws. The intern will be responsible for providing front desk administrative support to the Human Resources Department, HR staff and Corporation. Other responsibilities include coordinating and managing the new hire process, benefits administration and general HR duties. Associated Job Duties Intern job responsibilities: Assist with orientation. Appropriately screens HR phone calls and visitors, HR email inbox, and the HR ticketing system. Assist the Human Resources team with initiatives and projects that span multiple HR disciplines and employee experiences.
