A network of outpatient practices in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their women's health team in Brooklyn. About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Office is open 8-6 or 8-5, closed on the weekends
- Specialty: GYN
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:The GYN NP or PA will:
- Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments, order appropriate laboratory, radiological and special examinations or tests; interpret results
- Treat routine gynecological problems and provide cervival cancer screenings
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education including lactation education
- Perform outpatient procedures as required including IUD insertion
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license or Physician Assistant (PA)
- 2 years women's health experience
