Production Test Supervisor Key Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Manage the activities of the test team to ensure timely and accurate testing of production components and final products.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and address any issues that may arise during the testing process including leadership over union and non-union team members.
- Closely partner with the engineering team to ensure test scripts, equipment, plans, and procedures are appropriately developed during the design phase to enable efficient and cost effective test processes in the production phase
- Review production schedules to ascertain work load and prepares schedules and priorities or work.
- Investigate causes of defective material and coordinate resolution.
- Provide feedback to others on how to adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.
- Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.
- Possess knowledge of how to develop and execute product test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability
- Review and approve acceptance test procedures, qualification test procedures, work instructions, and other pertinent documentation to ensure an efficient test process
- Collaborate with product managers, specialists, designers, drafters, and quality assurance teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies
- Design, implement, and execute testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality & stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing tools to drive innovation and efficiency in testing efforts.
- Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, proposals, customer specifications, documents, & reports to determine testing requirements; provides input into proposals as needed.
- Prioritize personal responsibility for safety and the safety of internal customers by continuously and proactively correcting unsafe conditions/behaviors
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent military experience in electrical systems or electrical systems testing
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing & product & system testing
- Minimum 5 years' experience with transformer manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical engineering or electronics test labs
- Minimum 2 years' experience leading direct reports
- Must be able to work full time
- Must be US citizen with ability to secure a US Government security clearance; Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to export controlled data.
- Travel is required and dependent on customer needs; up to 10% annually

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing or designing military grade transformers
- Specialized knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical systems, or electrical systems testing
- Experience in working in manufacturing or production environments supporting military or industrial products
- Proven experience in software & hardware testing, including test planning, test case design, and test automation.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations & mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
