Project Coordinator - Construction
Scott Humphrey has partnered with a leading provider of custom signage solutions in Houston, TX, who is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Coordinator to join their team.
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the management and coordination of projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Act as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate clear communication.
- Track project milestones and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Review and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project logistics, including ordering materials and scheduling deliveries.
- Support budget management by tracking expenses and monitoring costs.
- Prepare project status reports and updates for management and clients.
- Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are adhered to on all projects.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and work with the project team to develop solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a construction or project coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, especially within retail construction projects.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
