Job Summary

To support our continued growth and provide outstanding service to our customer base in the United States, NanoFCM is seeking a highly motivated Field Applications Scientist based in California. This role requires frequent travel within California, and occasionally to other US states as needed, along with periods of remote work from home.

Key Responsiblities

  • Conduct on-site demonstrations for potential clients and assist existing customers with analytical development and application support.
  • Perform instrument installations and provide training to new users.
  • Represent NanoFCM at relevant industry conferences, seminars, and tradeshows.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the company's CRM system.
  • Report to the Sales and Applications Manager, North America.
  • Travel expectations: 30-50%.

    • Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medical Technology. A PhD is preferred.
  • Experience with characterisation of extracellular vesicles, viruses, or nanoparticle-based drug delivery is highly desirable. Knowledge of other technical solutions is a plus.
  • Sense of customer service; sales aptitude will be a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
