Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years' experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.
Opdenergy is now looking for an Investment Analyst as part of the exponential growth of the company.
What will you help with
- Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, project funding strategies, and long-term business planning.
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and project-specific metrics to assess investment opportunities and identify growth areas.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence to evaluate and facilitate potential investments.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, financial reports, and analysis for internal stakeholders and externaltners.
- Evaluate renewable energy generation projects for potential acquisition and partnership opportunities.
- Support offtake agreements, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations, and other commercial development efforts.
- Perform market research and track industry developments, regulatory updates, and emerging trends.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role; experience in the energy sector is a must. Investment banking experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
