Plans, organizes, leads, and communicates in a maintenance environment to meet goals in Safety, Quality, cost and delivery through the accomplishment of the following: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspects complete work to verify conformance to customer and plant specifications. Directs set-up and adjustment of machines. Studies production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignment(s). Interprets and communicates company policies (i.e., safety regulations, PPE, etc.). Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, and product quality. Recommends changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving problems.
