The Kettle Worker is responsible for ringing bells at assigned locations as part of The Salvation Army's Christmas fundraising efforts. The Kettle Worker is the first point of public contact in the Christmas fundraising and must exhibit the highest standards of customer service. A Kettle Worker must greet and interact with the general public in a courteous and friendly manner. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Have a pleasant, outgoing personality Able to work flexible hours Dependable Safety conscious Excellent customer service Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision. Abide by all rules, regulations and instructions provided by the Kettle Coordinator and TSA. Neat, clean and tidy in all manners Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ring the bell at your appointed kettle stand/location Ability to respond to the general public's questions and request for information courteously and direct to appropriate Salvation Army representative.
