The Membership Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and engage members of the Chamber. This role requires a passionate individual with a strong understanding of member needs and a commitment to building relationships within the business community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute membership recruitment and retention strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members.
- Conduct outreach to local businesses to promote Chamber membership benefits.
- Organize and host engagement events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with the President & CEO to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Track membership data and prepare reports on growth, retention, and engagement.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Represent the Chamber at community events and meetings to enhance visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or experience in marketing and communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in membership development, sales, or customer relations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build relationships and network within the community.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and membership management software.
