Our team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic addition to our food service staff. As a food runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.Responsibilities
- Carrying trays of food from the kitchen to the dining area
- Ensuring that each dish is delivered to the correct table
- Assisting servers and bussers with clearing tables and resetting them for the next group of diners
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are being prepared in a timely manner
- Providing exceptional customer service by responding to requests and questions quickly and accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area and kitchen
- Assisting with preparation of food items such as cutting and portioning ingredients
- Ensuring that the highest quality standards of food service are followed
- Providing support to other team members as needed
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years
- Weekends
- Day Shift
- Lift 50 lbs
- Stand long periods
- Authorized to work in US
- Minimum Age 16
Salary: $12.60 per hour
