Gouverneur Hospital is certified for 25 beds and services include inpatient detox, substance use disorder rehabilitation, emergency care, imaging and EKG's, physical therapy, and respiratory therapy.STATUS: Per diemLOCATION: Gouverneur HospitalDEPARTMENT: MSP/DetoxSCHEDULE: 12 hour shifts variable night and day per need of unitATTRIBUTES
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Required: Current, unrestricted New York State licensed practical nurse license
  • Preferred: One year of post-licensure practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse preferred
Responsibilities
  • Collects patient data related to patient and family needs
  • Performs tasks related to the comprehensive plan of care involving the patient and the family.
  • Performs and documents direct patient and family centered care according to nursing standards of practice.
  • Responds to patient conditions to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Performs tasks related to discharge planning to ensure safe and appropriate transition of care.
  • Supervise unlicensed team members in the delivery of care.
  • Provides world class customer service to patients and families.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Pay Range$28.28 - $39.66The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
