A Day in the Life of the Regional Maintenance Supervisor

As a Regional Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee a technical team across multiple locations, ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in equipment and processes while fostering a collaborative environment. You'll have the opportunity to mentor and guide a team of technicians, all while making a direct impact on the company's bottom line and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead installation and improvement projects in collaboration with plant maintenance and leadership teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues with equipment
  • Coordinate a team of associates to support maintenance operations and collaborate with HQ engineering
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track performance and recommend improvements
  • Provide mentorship, training, and development for maintenance and project technicians
  • Analyze equipment performance and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Travel up to 50% to other locations as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor with a strong track record in project implementation
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to challenge the status quo to improve processes
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time to other locations
