  • All Company Quarterly Bonus: All Production- 10 hours.
  • Annual Production Bonus: Field Supervisors, potentially $20,000 or more.

At Painters USA, we pride ourselves on complex projects made simple.Job SummaryThe Field Operations Supervisor (FOS) is responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating construction projects according to the assigned schedule and specifications. This role ensures that work plans are well-designed and that projects are completed as instructed. The FOS allocates work appropriately, monitors progress against the budget, and helps develop project cost estimates. This position involves high engagement with the field operations team, overseeing crew members, and supporting recruitment efforts for high-quality crew members. The FOS serves a critical field leadership role through their leadership, management, and accountability of Foremen and crew members. Responsibilities include providing support, coaching and development, direction, conflict resolution, and problem-solving strategies to help their teams succeed.Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and evaluate flooring projects, including cleaning & joint filling, resinous coatings, and concrete floor polishing.
  • Job Start-Up: Handle prep, pre-job visits, job engineering, and coordination of crew and equipment.
  • Job Progress Monitoring: Conduct routine site visits, crew check-ins, customer check-ins, and project troubleshooting.
  • Job Close-Out: Conduct final walkthroughs with the Foreman and customer, ensuring optimal customer service and proper site clean-up.
  • Safety Responsibilities & Enforcement: Through expert safety awareness, ensure personal and field safety compliance, including but not limited to, daily JSAs, and company safety standards, stop work authority, and maintain a zero lost workdays record.
  • Quality Control: Maintain exceptional standards for floor preparation, material application, and appearance.
  • Team Engagement: Participate in operations team meetings, calls, and committees. Champion the company's training program and encourage participation.
Basic Qualifications
  • Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to travel up to 25-50%
  • Ability to drive company truck and trailer
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in floors and coatings
  • Expert safety knowledge and awareness
  • Advanced knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used
  • Industry leadership experience with both people and projects
  • Effective communication skills with customers and crew
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in general painting and industrial coatings
  • Flooring industry installation certifications or continuing education
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed
  • Quick learner with high-quality and production standards
  • Knowledge of OSHA 10 guidelines (certification is a plus)
