Tesla Motors is looking for a Body Shop Painter/Surfacer and Detailer to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position will involve supporting the Paint and Surfacing Program in all aspects. Responsibilities
- Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from vehicle surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters
- Paint, mix colors, blend colors. Work with paint team and surfacing to assist in keeping projects on track for scheduled delivery time
- Surface cars and parts for paint. As well as paint the cars and parts. Prep parts for paint
- Wet sand, buff, and polish the finished paintwork
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties
- Detail projects for studio and studio reviews
Requirements - Prior experience in vehicle paint process preferred
- Ability to receive directions and work well with others
- Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Expected Compensation $26.14 - $45.03/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
