#CA-DK As a key member of the management support team, the incumbent is fully responsible for analytical support, reporting, and when needed, direct oversight for a wide range of strategic and tactical projects for the leadership team. This position plays a crucial role in the management of confidential personnel related documentation, including staffing, training, grievances, and other HR actions. The Administrative Officer provides administrative analysis and support for the Radiology Director and Director of Business Operations, requiring independent judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining department and employee records, complex calendaring, and providing logistical support for meetings and events. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a high level of professionalism when interacting with the public and staff members. Works around frequent interruptions, organizes workload, and sets priorities that are subject to change. Anticipates and provides for schedule changes, works well under pressure, and meets strict deadlines.   • Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience providing analytical, administrative, and project management support to a high-level administrator, such as an Executive of a large, complex organization.
  • Experience using a range of organizational and time management skills to coordinate and prioritize a diverse, complex workload and to meet competing deadlines in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Ability and knowledge to gather and analyze financial and other resource data.
  • Ability to prepare reports or analyses of operational activities, evaluates current and proposed services, etc.
  • Able to function as a resource on issues such as researching complex operational metrics and human resources.
  • Skills, knowledge and ability to oversee the calendar and commitments of a high-level executive and directors with multiple and varied local, regional, and national commitments, including all aspects of regional, national travel (lodging, transportation, policy application, and reconciliation).
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to work with complex information, determine impact, identify risks, evaluate approaches; and develop solutions within the context of priorities, time constraints, and available resources.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide guidance to supervisors and managers in developing job descriptions.
  • Knowledge to assess and recommend changes to maintain compliance with federal and state requirements and internal policies.
  • Political acumen and collegial communication skills to interact with persons at all levels of the hierarchy with varying backgrounds, levels of expertise, interest, and personal investment.
  • Skills to extract and synthesize information from a variety of sources; ability to determine the level of impact on the Leadership Team's commitments and responsibility and to translate, define and present that information to the Executive and Directors using sound judgment to make recommendations.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading skills to produce clear, well-organized information with strict attention to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Computer skills to apply various software programs (Microsoft Outlook, MS Exchange, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Internet) to accomplish assignments.
  • Active Listening skills, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Speaking skills to convey information effectively.
  • Reading comprehension skills to fully understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
  • Service orientation skills to actively look for ways to help internal and external customers. .
  • Ability to independently conduct research, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of diverse information and prepare analysis and reports in logical format.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Ability to analyze personnel related data from multiple sources and present meaningful report formats.
  • Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when prioritizing projects for assignments.
  • Knowledge of the principles of quality control and quality assurance. Ability to recognize aberrant values.
  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, taking meeting minutes, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
