Warehouse Coordinator Job DescriptionREQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must have a minimum of one year of online data entry experience, including at least one year of basic customer service experience is necessary (e.g., handling telephone inquiries and order requests and documenting equipment receipts.
- Must have a valid and non-expired state-issued driver's license.
- The ability to operate basic office equipment such as personal computers, duplicating machines, fax machines, handheld scanners, and standard office telephones is also required.
- Be able to act as a front-line point of contact for equipment arriving into daily.
- Assist callers with questions, concerns, and problems and move the equipment within several District locations throughout the city.
- This position will also retrieve/ dispose of surplus property service requests submitted via email and create active inventory information in SLC computerized inventory management system.
. Workplace Physical requirements (warehouse environment):
- The incumbent generally performs job duties in a typical warehouse environment. This involves working and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, and lift gates while standing for extended periods.
- The job also includes significant physical activity levels, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting office supply items that may weigh 50 pounds or more.
- The incumbent may be required to attend meetings in other offices or deliver and retrieve equipment from different offices around the city.
