The Pharmacy Workflow analytics team is a dynamic team within Retail Store Operations aimed to support the business by working cross-functionally to analyze the outputs of our current workflow reporting tools, create insights and reporting to highlight opportunity/risk, and create awareness with senior leaders to influence action and improve outcomes.The Workflow Analytics and Strategy team supports the 9000+ CVS Retail Pharmacy locations and its ~100K Pharmacists, Technicians, Field leaders. It strives to maintain industry-leading prescription fulfillment processes and tools in our CVS Pharmacies across the country, while bringing reliable and impactful performance reporting resources in service of driving unparalleled service for our patients. This position requires you to work on complex analytics that will inform critical decisions affecting the retail pharmacy business and work with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to share findings, KPI's, business results, etc.-and translate them into actionable areas of opportunity. This role will require management of multiple analyses and reporting suites and be accountable for delivering quality results-as well as to be able to present these results with urgency to senior leadership in the organization. This is a great opportunity for a healthcare-focused manager to make a big impact in pharmacies across the country an individual contributor capacity.Responsibilities:Workflow Analytics and Opportunity Identification (40%)Develop new, maintain, & fine tune predictive algorithms/evaluate predictive ability to address complex business use cases and leverage python solution development for query & automationEvaluate all existing data inputs and qualitative information to design thoughtful and comprehensive queries aimed at understanding current performance and driving continuous improvementCommit to learning agenda aimed at developing a deep understanding of the business by spending dedicated time in stores, listening/responding to frontline colleague feedback, proactively meeting with business partners, and maintaining a growth-mindset to identify new areas of opportunityData Translation and Business Case Development (20%)Understand Business question / use case and translate it to data needs. Extract relevant data to support the analysisDistill complex analytics into actionable insights that can be consumed and understood by multiple audiences with varying degrees of background/contextBuild thoughtful business cases/recommendations which help influence stakeholders and leaders to actionCreation/Maintenance of Data Visualization Tools (20%)Building and maintainenance of dashboards that are used by Retail Pharmacy field leaders and internal stakeholdersIdentify new views based on stakeholder feedback while refining existing views that align to current business/workflow prioritiesAssess various data visualization tools/platforms to channel-optimize and ensure on-demand intelligence tools are accessible, intuitive, and relevantSupport/Lead Ad-Hoc Analytics Requests (20%)Engage cross functional teams to help support new business cases, drive results, solve issues, and align on analytical findingsAccept new data inquiries and ask the right questions en route to understanding what is needed and how to best answer the business challengeRequired Qualifications:Basic understanding of retail business operations, including PharmacyExperience in synthesizing data analytics to create meaningful business insights5+ years experience building strategies5+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment5+ years experience influencing without authorityDemonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept feedbackProven track record of high performance3+ years experience using SQL or similar methods to access, extract, manipulate and summarize data in Teradata, Snowflake2+ years extensive hands-on experience using Python Data Frames, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit3+ years of experience in data analysis constructing analytical solutions to business problems2+ experience communicating complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences via both written and oral communication.1+ experience building Power BI or Tableau dashboards to reflect business analytic needsExpertise leveraging MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint capabilitiesRegular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leaderAny additional tasks as directed by supervisor or managerSkill In:Self-directed requiring little directionLeverages a continual improvement mindset to create simplicity and improve the colleague and customer experienceStrong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goalsStrong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlinesStrong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speechDemonstrating strong attention to detail and follow through with commitmentsAbility To:Deliver high quality professional communications, presentations, responses and analyses on a wide range of requests by working quickly, independently and with minimal directionCommunicate clearly to small and large groups internally and externally to lead complex projects to completionCollaborate cross functionally with leaders and colleagues' enterprise wide to solution, implement, and drive resultsPlan and execute short- and long-term goalsPreferred Qualifications: 5+ years experience using SQL or similar methods to access, extract, manipulate and summarize data in Teradata, Snowflake4+ years extensive hands-on experience using Python Data Frames, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit4+ years of experience in data analysis constructing analytical solutions to business problems4+ experience communicating complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences via both written and oral communication.3+ experience building Power BI or Tableau dashboards to reflect business analytic needsExperience directly leading others and building a high-performing team a plusMasters degreeEducation:Bachelor's or equivalent experiencePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
