Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a variety of floor maintenance tasks including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, communal areas, and offices.
  • Safely and efficiently operate floor care equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and universal precautions to uphold a sanitary environment.
  • Maintain positive interactions with residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in floor care is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills with residents, staff, and HCSG leadership.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • Residency within the service area is mandatory.
