EXTRUSION OPERATOR - 2nd shift The Thermoplastic Extruder Operator is responsible for machine operation and processing in successful achievement towards final product. This position is performed following all Parker Hannifin Standard Operating Procedures and Safety regulations and practices. Sets up and operates thermo-plastic extruders and auxiliary equipment on the extruder line according to engineering specifications; makes immediate corrections where possible. Utilizes a variety of precision measuring instruments, performing all required testing and recording all pertinent information and ensuring quality standards are met. Determines appropriate changeover of tooling to ensure proper dimensions according to specifications. Monitors machines and process, reporting irregularities to Lead or Supervisor for problem identification and resolution. Is responsible for material handling for each assigned process.
