Part-time, Year-Round Packhouse and Greenhouse WorkerResponsibilitiesGrade, sort, clean, wash and pack various fruit, vegetables, grains and other food products.Assemble, disassemble and manage food related packaging materials.Enforce quality standards.Implement quality and food safety standards.Assist on the order packing line.Maintain and clean work areas, tables, machines, coolers and other packhouse areas.-Greenhouse related activiites including seeding, transplanting, watering and record keeping-Occasional harvest of vegetables in the field**RequirementsMUST:**Have dependable transportation and a telephone.Be able to lift 50lbs.Be able to work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day.Be available to work every-other week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.Be detail oriented with an ability to count.Have strong organizational skills with a focus on quality and cleanliness.Be motivated, quick and reliable.Have a strong ability to stay focused on tasks without verbal communication.Have the ability to follow detailed instructions.Have proven ability in these areas and solid references.Details- Probationary/trial period for ideal candidate to assess worker suitability, skills and performance.Additional hours with additional responsibilities may be available and awarded with good performance.-We are a tobacco-free workplace
