Your legacy of excellence begins when you join us at Seminole Care & Rehab.Hiring for Weekend Double Shifts:* Candidates must work consecutive weekend double shifts to qualify for the Baylor Program* 6:00 am - 2:00 pm & 2:00 pm - 11:00 pmPay, Benefits and Perks of Certified Medication Aide (CMA) :* $ 3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidate!* Baylor Pay - Work 32 hours and get paid for 40 hours* Shift Differential Pay (at participating locations)* Paid Time Off (PTO+) added to your balance after 30 days of employment; immediately accrue more PTO as you work! (full-time only)* Earn PTO+ for every quarter of perfect attendance (full-time only)* 6 Observed Holidays with premium pay or leave + 1 Floating Holiday for full-time employees* Up to $5,000 per in tuition/education reimbursement per calendar year for approved program of study* Take home up to 75% of your net earned wages at the end of every shift* 401(k) Retirement plan with company-matched contributions after 1 year of employment* Medical (Teledoc Included), Dental, Vision, Life and other voluntary Insurances for full-time employees* Have fun with contests and employee appreciation events every monthEssential Functions of Certified Medication Aide (CMA) :* Performs resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with Company Clinical Policies and Procedures as well as state/federal guidelines and regulations* Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with center policy* Must demonstrate knowledge of five rights of medication administration* Administers and records all medication given to residents based upon their specific chart* Notifies appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.* May take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medications* Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately, utilizing the computer system to enter and reference resident information as needed* Answers resident call lights, anticipates resident's needs and makes rounds to assigned resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse or charge nurse on the shift* Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift* Performs all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors* Support and maintains a culture of safety and quality* Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with center policy* Reports and when appropriate, records any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidents* Performs other duties as assignedQualifications of Certified Medication Aide (CMA) :* High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred* Must pass a state-issued exam* Required valid certification as a CMA in the state of Oklahoma* Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred* Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.* Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations* Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff* Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing* Additional languages preferred* Basic computer knowledgeEEO Statement:Our facility provides equal employment opportunities.
