We are seeking a Director & Actuary - Programs to lead our commercial programs pricing team and serve as a foundational member of the actuarial function for a top tier commercial insurer. You will work in a dynamic, fast paced atmosphere and will have a direct impact on results. This is a high visibility role with responsibilities that include managing a small team and working with business partners. Provide strategic input and collaborate with business partners in product development and profitability managementInitiate, organise, and lead the completion of actuarial analyses for the Commercial Property line, including delegation to others. Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained that allows another actuarial staff member to understand and recreate the work product. Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, and IT to determine available data for actuarial analyses and reporting requirements. Manage, grow, and develop team members as appropriate and advocate for their continued development. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another field with a rigorous mathematics background. ACAS or FCAS required At least 7 years of Actuarial Commercial Lines Pricing experienceExperience managing or mentoring less experienced team members. Discipline(s): ActuarialJob type: Permanent
