Job DescriptionDirector of Human ResourcesOur client located in Shawnee, OK is seeking a Director of Human Resources on a Direct Hire Basis.Company Profile:Manufacturing Director of Human Resources Role:The Human Resources Director will lead and manage all HR operations, focusing on talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and compliance. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing HR programs and policies that align with the organizations values and strategic goals, fostering a positive and engaged workforce.Direct the operations of talent acquisition, onboarding, training, payroll, benefit administration, compliance, and performance reviewsSupport the payroll and benefits team, including health, welfare and retirement benefitsHandle employee issues proactively alongside management team Conduct employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigationsResponsible for approving payroll and occasionally assisting payroll managers with processingSupport workforce planning initiativesUphold and promote all employee policies and proceduresRemain compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and practices such as FMLA and ADAReview and edit policies and company practices in order to remain compliantResponsible for drafting, updating, and maintaining HR forms, files, and HRIS systemDirector of Human Resources Background Profile:Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 7+ years of HR Management experience, with 3-5 years in leadership MUST have experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.Demonstrate ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and concurrent projectsConfident and demonstrates attributes that are highly respectedProficient with Microsoft Office Suite applicationsLicenses or certifications in HR highly preferredBilingual would be a plus Features and Benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision insurancePTO ' 3 weeks per yearStandard Paid Holidays401K with matchBonus opportunity!!
