Responsibility:
This position is in charge of an assigned group of subordinate employees engaged in the maintenance, installation, inspection, testing, alteration and repair of track and roadway in Subway and Elevated service under operating and emergency conditions:
* Perform required inspections for the assigned section devices using EAM system where applicable.
* Perform all necessary field inspections and job site audits on a daily basis
* Schedules and assigns supervisors and employees to the various jobs required throughout the zone and/or sub-division
* Conducts investigations and prepares reports
* Must be available pre and post tour
* Coordinate work with other departments when necessary (Third Rail, Signal, Infrastructure, etc.)
* Compiles and analyzes records and information to formulate action plans or give appropriate instruction to subordinates
* Coordinate all functions required for the successful implementation and completion of Track Construction projects panel renewal/switch renewal. Includes scheduling of manpower, work train, equipment, material and support groups.
* Responsible for scoping work locations and ensuring material is ordered and on site. Also responsible for making sure the work location is prepped, and all safety concerns are addressed prior to the commencement of the work.

Maintenance Supervisor II (Track) Salary Range:
1st Entrance $110,381
2nd Year $111,951
3rd Year $115,888
Education and Experience:
Current NYC Transit Track Maintenance Supervisors are eligible to apply.
