Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Customer Quality Specialist. This is an on-site position located at our Moon Township, PA facility. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR. Approximately 25% travel will be required.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

What you'll do:
The Customer Quality Specialist is responsible for driving customer quality metrics improvements and improving customer quality relationships as identified by the PCD Division leadership. The individual will be the Quality liaison on customer quality concerns and performance for these select customers, including interfacing with Services, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and the customer organization.
This position interfaces across multiple divisions and reports directly to the PCD Division OpEx Manager. The role will be working closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that elevate the overall user experience and driving customer quality performance to achieve our business and operational objectives.
This role will also support the processes to prepare key customer quality communications and business review activities with responsibility for customer quality problem solving activity for all Hyper-scale Data Center customers, (i.e. Microsoft, Facebook, Google, Amazon) as well as select strategic customers in other verticals. In addition, they will:
* Provide leadership of quality problem solving activity for Hyper-scale and select strategic customers.
* Work with plant cross functional teams to identify root cause and generate corrective action plans. Leverage tools within the Eaton Quality System to address quality concerns and communicate with customer as appropriate.
* Coordinate efforts to resolve customer complaints, quality alerts, and/or external quality escapes, including root cause analysis and CAPA related to these, as well as ensure their effectiveness.
* Support the Division level quality performance by analyzing data to identify key contributors of warranty and then implement Error Proofing solutions to achieve reduced CONC costs.
* Update customers in a timely manner regarding the status of quality issues or any requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Work with key account sales and marketing managers and Engineering Service to remedy critical customer complaint issues, acting as coordinator representing PCD Division Quality.
* Lead cross-functional teams in the development of product improvement plans based on customer feedback and quality data analysis.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality and/or engineering
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
* Six Sigma Greenbelt certification
* Working knowledge of Quality Management System standards and AIAG requirements
* ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
* 2 years managing project teams in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others
* Quality tool knowledge: 8D, 5 why, Ishikawa, Paretos. Lean Tools, Statistics
