About:

A leading Am Law 100 firm is currently seeking a highly experienced Intellectual Property Partner to join their team in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and grow your IP practice while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver strategic and innovative solutions to clients across diverse industries.

Experience:

• A minimum of eight years' experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on litigation and/or transactional IP.
• A deep understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law, as well as emerging trends in IP protection.
• A J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
• Proven track record of business development with a portable book of business.

About the position:

This role will involve managing a portfolio of complex IP matters, leading negotiations and providing counsel on IP-related agreements such as technology transfers, patent portfolios and joint ventures. You will build and sustain strong client relationships, collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and geographies to support integrated client solutions and mentor junior attorneys within the practice.
