Job Description:

Summary:

Dutchess Community College seeks a talented Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to join the growing athletic department for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for helping with the organization, administration, and coaching of the Men's Soccer program, including supervising staff and student-athletes.

Duties:

* Execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching sport.

* Recruit sufficiently qualified student-athletes.

* Effectively execute fundraising activities, including camps and clinics to help meet teams' financial goals.

* Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and provide support.

* Scout and prepare team for competition.

* Comply with College, NJCAA, Region 15, and Mid-Hudson Conference rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate soccer program.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid NY Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree

* At least two years of soccer coaching experience at the high school level or at least two years of soccer coaching at the collegiate level.

Additional Information:

Positions in the Athletics Department are employees of the Dutchess Community College Association.

This position is based on a 12-month employment agreement at $1,000 - $3,000 per season.
