Our Challenge

As a Python Developer, Candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. Candidate will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $105k - $115/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to innovate and improve our backend systems.

Requirements:

You are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficient in databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and serverless architectures.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
