Position Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for guiding and coaching employees to meet production goals while ensuring safety and a positive work environment. This role drives operational excellence and promotes a culture of continuous improvement in line with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage operating and capital budgets
- Ensure key performance metrics (yield, efficiency, line speed, etc.) are met.
- Implement processes to improve safety outcomes.
- Provide ongoing training to develop leadership and technical skills of staff.
- Innovate to improve operational performance and product quality.
- Align team efforts with company goals on products, profitability, and sustainability.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of management experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry procedures (HACCP, SPC).
- Strong leadership track record with a focus on achieving results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
